TurboSquid is a stock-model website that Outfit7 got most of its 3D models used in their pre-rendered games (characters, backgrounds, props, etc.) from 2010 to 2011. The original design for Talking Tom used in Talking Tom Cat was a model from TurboSquid and was originally known as CAT CARTOON. It was priced at $90 USD. The model's other known usages were for a French character named Léo le Chat which used the original Tom model, an Argentinian Flynn Paff candy with bubble gum flavor commercial, and another commercial for ONLYaCALL, but two were retextured with orange fur. The model was removed eventually likely because of Talking Tom’s rising popularity. It's unknown if there are backups for the deleted models.
The archived page for the original Tom model can be found here (although you cannot buy or get the model).
Other models from the Talking Tom & Friends series that came from TurboSquid are the following:

TurboSquid has not taken part on any other game in the Talking Friends series besides their models being used in the earlier Outfit7 games, and Outfit7 using their own models later on after the rise in popularity of the Talking Friends series.
Trivia[]
- Currently as of 2025, Talking Tom & Friends fans (and Addy Gamer) are actively searching for the original Tom model.
- Most of the CAT_CARTOON.zip model videos were made by Addy Gamer.
- The CAT_CARTOON.zip model was almost found by Addy Gamer (by an animation file) but sadly the mesh of the full body was corrupted, but the eyes of the real model were found.
- There were tests done with the CAT_CARTOON.zip model back in December of 2014, 3 years after the models alleged removal.
