Talking Ben gets back to inventing and creates a machine that can control the weather, which promptly goes haywire with unforeseen consequences.
Plot[]
Ginger and Angela were having a skateboard parasailing race when a thunderstorm started, which cancelled the race. Ginger felt betrayed because his weatherman said it was sunny. Angela explains to him that weather cannot really be predicted, which sparks an idea in Ben for his first invention since he got rid of his anti-tech bracelet.
Ben goes to the weather report studio, where his friends carry a heavy crate. Ben presents the Weather O Matic to Skip. The machine could change the weather, so Ben pressed a few buttons and the thunderstorm suddenly disappeared. So, Skip makes a weather broadcast telling the townspeople the weather will be almost always nice.
Sadly for Skip, the weather report started losing viewer interest, and no one felt the need to even watch Skip. So, when the kiteboarding race started up again, the sky grew dark and started raining diapers. Tom and his friends ran inside, where they deduced that the Weather O Matic had something to do with the situation. Additionally it started raining giant snowflakes in certain places and screaming clouds appeared. Ben blames himself for it, but then Skip reports that it was raining upside down near Ben's garage. It wasn't true at first, but moments later, it actually does. Skip also blames Ben for doing this in his report. This raised some questions among them, so they went back to the studio.
Tom asked Skip if he could see the invention, but Skip told him that it was moved very far away. However, Tom sees it in the corner of his eyes and runs toward it, only to find that the machine was malfunctioning and broken. So, Skip admits that he broke it to make his weather reports more interesting and to blame it on Ben. What he didn't realize was that Hank recorded the confession and it aired live before all the townspeople, including Ben at home. Tom and Hank try to fix the machine, but Skip grabs a baseball bat and gives the machine several hard blows.
This created a giant green tornado in the studio that sucked all the friends with Flipper and floated into the sky. The friends formed a chain and found a canoe among the debris and tried to ride it, while Flipper rode on top of the machine. The friends almost made it, but the machine shot a giant snowflake that split the canoe in half. They were about to fall out the side of the tornado, but Ben kiteboarded to them. They all hop onboard.
They then realize that Ben has no idea how to ride a kiteboard. He handed it to Ginger, who expertly rode to the machine. However, Skip leaped at them to prevent them from making it there. He got caught in a basketball hoop. However, he was still able to throw items at them. One of these item was a giant cake, which Hank gobbles down in an instant. Once they got onto the machine, Ben was able to reboot it and the tornado disappeared. They went falling, but used their kite as a parachute. They also catch Skip Flipper, who landed safely but was arrested.
So, Ben decided that the world wasn't ready for constant nice weather, so he changed it so that there would sometimes have nice weather, and sometimes let it rain. Skip Flipper also films his weather report live from jail, saying that it'd be nice weather, but then it started raining.
