Talking Ben is tired of his inventions failing, so he's decided his newest one, the Listen-O-Scope, is going to be his last if it doesn't work. But it does more than just work - it allows him to contact an alien. As Ben becomes closer with the alien and starts following his instructions, Talking Tom worries that the alien might not be on their side. Will he be able to discover and stop the alien's evil plot in time?
Plot[]
Tom, Hank and Angela are looking at constellations while Ben is trying out his new invention, a sort of telescope for the ears. He's been in a slump recently so should it fail Ben would quit science permanently. So, he tests it out and begs for a sound, but it fails. Tom, Angela and Hank left him alone and went inside while Ben cried on the floor. Just then, Ben hears a voice from an alien, telling him it was from outer space.
Overnight, Ben befriends the alien and communicates with it. Tom is amazed, but Ginger drags him into the storage room and instructs him to put on the tin foil hat from A Secret Worth Keeping: Part Three. Ginger says that the alien, Allen, is evil and is trying to dominate the world. However, Tom brushes it off, saying that Ben is careful with his science. However, they eavesdrop on his conversation with Allen, and Tom quickly changes his mind.
So, they convince Angela and Hank about it. They put on tin foil hats and stage a little intervention, telling Ben that sharing too much information to Allen could endanger the world. Ben denies it, and tells them that he'll be building a form of alien technology in the garage. Worried for their planet, Angela, Tom and Ginger try to sabotage the invention, but Ben uses traps to keep them away.
Nearly one full day of nonstop building later, the invention is finally finished. So, the news reporter comes and Ben shows off his "invention" on TV. In a desperate attempt to sabotage the invention, Tom sneaks into the invention in search of its "master brain." However, Hank admits that he pretended to be Allen to give Ben a science breakthrough. Ben finally shows the invention off, but Flo notices that the invention was really a water slide. The crowd laughs uncontrollably, and Ben is greatly humiliated.
So to make Ben feel better, Tom puts on an alien costume, steps out the side of the water slide and pretends to be Allen the alien. "Allen" claims he tricked Ben into making the slide because "Earth needs more sliding." Everyone except Ben, who noticed Tom's foot, was convinced and rode the water slide, praising Ben for his invention. Soon after, Ben told Tom he has explaining to do, but thanked him as well.
