There's no business like show business. When Talking Tom steals the scene from Talking Angela, the fame quickly goes to his head. But his big break backfires right in his face, leaving him with a frozen expression. Now it's time to act his way out of a paper bag before his scary look is unmasked.
Plot[]
Tom helps Angela rehearse for a commercial audition. Tom instructs Angela to do a certain role, but Tom is disappointed. So, Tom makes out a few lines, and the director overhears. He decides to make Tom the face of the commercial.
Tom rehearses at the garage. However, when Ginger gives him four layers of acting to play, Tom becomes face frozen. His facial muscles have popped, leaving him stuck in an awkward facial expression. Tom tries desperately to pull his face back, but to no avail.
Tom tries to brush it off with charisma, but at the diner the townspeople get scared of Tom and run away screaming. Some form an angry mob and corner him, but Tom manages to get away. At the garage, he cowers in the closet, no longer wanting to be in the commercial. So, Angela gives Tom a paper bag to put over his head and sends him off.
Tom hides behind a van and calls Ben, who has a plan. Ben has built a robotic mask for Tom that he can control, so no one notices. Wearing the mask, the director gives Tom a set of acting instructions. However, the director keeps on adding on more layers, which is too much for the mask to handle. The mask freezes too, scaring the crew.
Tom removes the mask to explain it was just a faulty device, but his still disfigured face only frightened them more. The crew and even a spider are horrified and run away screaming.
Tom later sees a phone commercial on television claiming their product was "monster-proof." Tom is relieved that he got his normal face back, but sad that he lost the opportunity to become a TV star. Then, he receives a call from a movie company offering a role to the "guy whose face looks like a monster." However, when Angela explains that Tom got his face back, the company hangs up.
