The Landlord leaves town for a while and puts the stern teacher Ms. Vanthrax in charge of the garage while he's away. Talking Tom and the others can't deal with Vanthrax's totally unfair rules. So they decide to trick her and sneak away to a big dance competition. But getting away from their new landlord won't be as easy as they thought.
Plot[]
Tom and his friends are practicing their moves for the dance contest, when Ms. Vanthrax comes in. Apparently the Landlord was on vacation and he got Vanthrax to be the substitute landlord. So, she runs the garage like her classroom; she gave out rules and detention. One particular rule that scares Tom is the one that banns dancing.
Tom and the friends go about their daily lives, but are interrupted by Vanthrax handing out pink slips for breaking the rules. Those pink slips translated into a long list of chores for the friends to finish, just before the dance contest. Somehow, they finished all the chores before the contest.
However, when they start to go to the contest, Velma stops them, telling them that they missed a chore on the list. She points out a chore that was written really tiny: "dust the toothbrushes". She intended to punish them further with more chores, so Tom has to think up a plan. They put her to sleep outside and sneak out.
At the dance contest, however, Velma bursts in to look for them. So, they try to sneak out the door. Unfortunately, Ben did a dance move that gives him a back spasm and he wailed in pain. Velma notices and threatens to evict them. So, Ginger does an impossible dance move called the Super Maxo Double Monster Flip into a Nose Spin. This makes Vanthrax remember her past as a dancer and how she invented the move but had to retire from the dance floor because of an injury. Angry that someone else had mastered her move, she joins in with Ginger.
She ends up winning the dance contest and is joyful about it. She decides not to evict them, but still forces them to do the detention chores.

- This episode was originally called “Vandlord."
- On the Brazilian channel in 2021 when this episode was posted there was an error instead of this episode being played, the episode that was played was Unfriend 'Em All! for unknown reasons but later this was fixed.
- The Vyond/GoAnimate crowd cheering sound effect used the scene when the dance contest is starting.
