The Brave Sir Ginger is the 21st episode of Season 5 of Talking Tom and Friends.
Synopsis[]
Talking Ginger finds a magical sword that lets him become a gallant knight, but soon finds himself in a fight he’s not sure he can win.
Plot[]
Ginger was at a school field trip to the museum, bored from the topics covered in the tour. Then, he sees a sword wedged into a tree stump; no one was allegedly able to pull it out, and one who does would become a knight.
Ginger attempts to pull out the sword, and succeeds. He takes home the sword and plays around with it dangerously until Tom intervenes. However, the sword manages to speak, and offers to train Ginger to become a true knight. However, Ginger simply rides his bike, slashing everything he sees with the sword in hand.
At the garage, the friends find that the sword had not been given a chance to train him. However, when Ginger enters the garage, he finds the place is ransacked, with Hank missing. A dark mage appears, claiming to have captured Hank. The wizard tells Ginger to meet him at the forest if he wished to rescue Hank.
Realizing that being a knight was a scary job, he decided to follow the sword's instruction. He crafts a shield out of metal, draws a crest and makes a candle out of molten wax. The sword then instructs him to use what he learned together. Ginger insists on fighting alone, and finds the wizard in the forest.
Ginger combines the three items together and expects a powerful spell, only to be chased away when the spell refused to work. He finds Tom, who realizes that together meant he had to fight with his friends.
In the end, they manage to knock down the wizard together. Just when Ginger was about to attack the wizard, the sword congratulates him for completing the interactive lesson on medieval knights. It turned out that the quest was an interactive game created by the museum to make their lessons more exciting. The wizard turned out to be the museum director, and the friends were all in on it. Ginger was mad that he was tricked, but Tom reminded him that he still had fun. The museum director politely asks the friends to leave as another child was coming.

- This episode aired a week earlier than expected, before the last Friday of the month, when episodes post-Santa's Phone would typically air.
- The "sword of virtue" is a clear reference to the legendary sword Excalibur from the story of King Arthur.
- This episode was originally titled "Ginger's Knight Out" and would have been the 19th episode of Season 5.
Errors[]
- When Ginger jumps out of the stool a rocket sound can be heard but there was no rocket in this scene.
- When the Tour Guide said "you fool" the second word is visible in the captions.
- When Ginger cheers, the caption said "woman screams"
- In 8:52 after the Sorcerer says What?, The first word in Tom's line ''I'' was animated that the Sorcerer said it even though that line was obviously meant for Tom
