Plot[]
Hank and Jeremy prepare their food for the Taste of Town food festival. However, a germ emerges from the toilet, and Jeremy recognizes him as his brother, Nigel. He wants to have fun with Nigel, but the friends remind him to have good, clean fun.
Jeremy wakes up to find the town around him covered in ooze. The friends claimed that he created the mess with Nigel, dumping trash everywhere. Jeremy then realizes he was late for the food festival and hurries over, only to find that all the booths were taken. He is heartbroken, and Nigel comes out and tells him to stop fighting who he really was. Jeremy takes this advice and destroys the food festival. Ginger is heartbroken and stores one of Jeremy's slime-covered cookies into his overall pocket.
They follow the trail of sludge into the sewer, where they find Jeremy trying to turn a valve that would fill the town with sludge. The friends try to stop him, but Nigel appears and splits into multiple germs. They attack the friends, who manage to fight them off and ask Jeremy not to throw away his dreams of being a chef. Then, Ginger makes the decision to eat the gross cookie that was in his pocket.
Jeremy realizes that he has a gift for cooking that he should follow. So, he decides not to flood the sewer. Nigel tries to do it without him, but Jeremy fights off all the replicas of Nigel, and leaves the last one flowing into the sewer water.
He and his friends repair the festival and sets up a booth for Jeremy. Rhonda is impressed, and offers him a job at the diner, to which he accepts. However, the friends, who all ate a bite of the sewer cookie, started feeling sick, started tooting and rushed into the Porta-Potties.

- The title is a reference to The Good Germ.
- This episode's working title name was "The Germs are Back or The Germinator 4: Jeremy's Brother" and was the 14th episode of Season 4.
- The button on Hank’s apron in the beginning references the episode Taco Spaghetti Burger.
- In Jeremy's debut episode, "The Germinator", Jeremy had to be grown with a machine to be full size. However, Nigel is already full size when he arrives, instead of a regular sized germ. This is likely an oversight with the writers.
