Talking Tom and Friends Pilot is the pilot episode of Talking Tom and Friends. The full pilot is not available, and no clips and images are found.

History

Little is known about the original pilot; however, it served as a pitch to get the show running.

In October 2013, Outfit7 presented the upcoming series at MIPCOM, a trade exhibition, in order to establish partnerships and contracts for the show, however it is unknown if the pilot episode itself was shown. Six months later, Outfit7 presented a trailer for the series at MIPTV, as well as having the then upcoming series featured on page 54 of the MIPTV 2014 preview magazine.

Trivia

• Clips of a trailer for Talking Tom and Friends start to surface in 2021. It includes a unique setting, and an undressed Angela, they were believed to be from the pilot, but in 2022, Toni Weiss confirmed that the clips were not from the pilot but rather an animation test for the show, he also said he was not involved with that.
• According to the MIPTV 2014 preview magazine, Talking Tom and Friends was supposed to feature all of the characters from Outfit7's apps, meaning that characters such as Pierre, Gina, Harry, Hippo, Larry, Lila, Roby, Rex and John, who did not appear in Talking Tom and Friends, may have appeared in this pilot, as well as Santa, who did feature in many episodes of the series.
• An article from June 2014 suggested that two additional characters, a talking cat named Tim who was Tom's rival neighbour, and a fan of Tom who was jealous of his friends, would appear frequently in the series. Since this didn't happen, it is unknown if they appeared in the pilot.
• Angela was supposed to be unclothed in the series, but it was cancelled.
