Talking Tom Gold Run is an app released on the 11th of May, 2016 and published by Outfit7. It is the second installment in the franchise to be an endless runner after Talking Tom Jetski.

- Roy Rakoon makes his first appearance in the game.
- The achievement Hank's home has its old icon.
- In the old version, there were posters of the next worlds that can be unlocked, but were removed for unknown reasons.
- In the old version of this game, the notification sound is different.
- In the old version of the game, Angela had a different outfit, and in Ginger's Forest Fun, there were birds instead of planes.
- Hank's world used to have a modern highway.
- Early advertisements and the original app icon for this game (as well as the Outfit7 website) used the design of Tom from My Talking Tom, rather than the one from the game.
- This was likely to keep Tom being recognizable, as Tom had a huge overhaul in design in this game.
- The trailers for game were animated by Lunar Animation together with Outfit7.[2]
- The reward wheel is the same one as the reward wheel in My Talking Tom.
- On the 30th of August, 2023, Becca made her first appearance in this game.
- This led to Angela's Night Out being renamed and Neon Angela becoming a paid skin.
- Stone Age Hank and Dino Tom were reused from Talking Tom Time Rush, but in Talking Tom Time Rush, instead of Dino Tom, it was Dino Ginger.
- In old versions (1.0) the character's eyes disappear and turn black for a very short period of time.
- The vault design was different in the oldest versions.
- The game only had 4 maps at the time of first release.
- After Ginger's Farm, the "Coming Soon" text was removed.
- In old versions of the game, sometimes there was an occurring issue that would cause all the gold collected to follow the character behind. This only happened in versions 1.0 - 5.0 of the game.
- The Iron Ben skin is a parody of Iron Man from Marvel Comics.
- The Snake Off event was obtainable way before it was actually added, if the player skipped the time from December to February 1, the event would automatically appear.

The bug occurring with Tom.
- After a June 2023 update, sometimes when making high jumps, the character will not look towards the screen, unlike usually.
- After Angela hits Roy with a hammer, a bug occurs.
- After Roy gets defeated in the plane battle, the plane power up will last for only a few seconds.
- Rarely when Becca bumps, she makes the same bumping sound as Ginger.
