Talking Rex the Dinosaur was an interaction-based video game developed by Outfit7, it was released on 30 October 2010 and was the sixth app in the Talking Friends series.

The app features the character Rex, and is set in a jungle-like environment. The user can make Rex repeat the things the user has said along with a lot of other things.

How to Play

- Talk to Rex and he will repeat your words with his deep dinosaur voice.

- Touch his tail and he will try to bite you.

- Poke Rex repeatedly and he will get very angry.

- Pet him and he will really enjoy.

- Press buttons to make Rex fight another t-rex, eat a steak or play fetch.

- Record videos, save them to your library and send them as MMS, upload them to YouTube & Facebook or send them by email.

Gameplay

The main feature is that Rex repeats what you say in a deep voice. You can also give Rex a bone or some steak, touch his body and tail, and make Rex fight with another dinosaur. Like other Talking Friends series apps, you can also record videos.

Anti-Piracy Protection

Like most of Outfit7's early apps for example Talking Roby the Robot and Talking Baby Hippo, this game had anti piracy protection. If the app gets pirated, Rex's voice will become high pitched and extremely muffled.
