Talking Pierre the Parrot is an interaction-based game app developed by Outfit7 and released for iOS and Android. The app was released on November 29, 2011, and is one of the first apps in the Talking Tom & Friends franchise and Talking Friends series.
The app features its titular character: Pierre, and is set in the kitchen of Tom's house. The user can make Pierre repeat what is said amongst other features.
Features[]
- The game features a blender, which can be turned on and off by tapping Pierre. This prevents Pierre from hearing you
- There is also a button that makes Pierre play the guitar, which plays a 1973 song called Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple. Later, in version 3.0 for iOS, only the song Smoke on the Water had a remix which was also reused for the desktop version of Talking Tom Cat 2.
- If you touch Pierre's head, he will make a weird face with a trumpet noise.
- If you rub Pierre, hearts will appear, and he will hum short melodies.
- If you touch his legs, then Pierre will put his leg up and after that will say "Bang bang" or "Pow pow" and blow in his left hand.
- If you touch Pierre's Stomach, Tom claps him with cymbals. You can hold if you want Tom to still clap Pierre with cymbals.
- Much like Talking Tom Cat, Pierre can repeat sentences spoken in the microphone, though he can easily confuse phrases, causing Tom to pop up and correct him. (Which is removed in 2021.) The correcting feature is for iOS and old versions on Android.
- He can throw dishes from the sink. Most dishes cost money.
- He can turn on the water tap, which is a paid feature. If he turns it off, he will say "Woohoo!"
- You can throw tomatoes at Pierre and if you want to hit him with one, you have to buy it. After you miss Pierre, Pierre will turn and show his tail saying "Nya nya nya nya nya!".
- Record videos to share with your friends and family.
- When you don't interact with Pierre, he will bite his toenails.
