Talking Larry the Bird was an interaction-based video game app developed by Outfit7. It released on July 30, 2010 on iOS and is the third app in the Talking Friends series.

The app featured its titular character: Larry, and the user could make him repeat what is said by the user as well as various other features.

How to Play

• Play on the piano keyboard and Larry will whistle.
• If you hold on the piano, Larry will explode in 2 different ways.
• Talk and he will repeat everything what you say.
• Poke him and he will not like it.
• Poke him in the head and he will spin.
• Give him seeds to eat.
• Strike him with lightning.
• Record videos and upload them to YouTube & Facebook or send them by email or MMS.
• Make him take a bow by tapping the hand button.

in October 2021 a now-terminated account luustlord_1510 uploaded a video on YouTube named screaming bird meme, a video about Larry screaming hard.

Two Birds on a Wire

Around November 29, 2021, now-deleted TikToker @tqmgatos posted a video set to Regina Spektor's "Two Birds" where two versions of the game are shown over a black background. As the song plays, the Larry on the left is killed by lightning. Seconds later the Larry on the right screams in horror like the previous mentioned Screaming Bird.

• The bird model used for this app originates from the 3D model website TurboSquid and was created by 3D artist gubenco.
• Originally, this app costed $0.99 USD on Google Play Store.
• Originally, the iPad version of the app costed $1.99 USD and later $2.99 USD on the App Store.

• The app does not let the user pet him. He can only poke him, which will result in Larry screaming at him.
