Super Tom is the eighth episode of Talking Friends.
Synopsis[]
Ben's ray gives Ginger super powers to play with, and all the others want them too. The trouble starts when a cute little armadillo is accidentally given powers too.
Plot[]
Ginger encounters an armadillo while pretending to be a superhero. He wishes he could be a real hero with real powers, so Ben shows Ginger an invention that grants the user a random superpower. He activates the machine, giving Ginger super strength. Ginger lifts Ben, and then goes outside to show Tom and Pierre his strength. He goes through and breaks a wall that Ben loved.
Tom and Pierre really wanted superpowers too, so Ginger, who was lifting them, puts them down, and Ben says they can each have a power. Tom gets super speed, Ben gets cryokinesis, and Pierre gets flight. Pierre can already fly, since he is a bird, and he argues with Ben to have a different power, but Ben said he could only get a power once. However, an armadillo inadvertently flips the switch, causing the device to give him increased size and laser eyes.
They have to do something about the big armadillo. Tom uses his speed to run around the armadillo, but he kicks him back with his tail. Then, the friends use their powers to fight the armadillo when Ben comes up with a plan. Tom runs around the armadillo again, and Pierre distracts him, but he tries to shoot Pierre with his laser eyes. Tom tickles the armadillo's belly, causing him to roll into his shell. Ginger pushes him, and the armadillo rolls towards the trailer, so Ben uses his ice powers to create an ice barrier.
However, this causes the shell to roll onto the invention, crushing it, removing all the friends' powers and shrinking the armadillo back to normal. Tom learns that with great power comes great responsibility, and he decides to do something even crazier. Ben is unamused and rolls his eyes.

- This is the only episode that does not feature Gina.
- When everyone loses their power, Tom says "With great power comes great responsibility". This quote is a reference to a quote by Uncle Ben from the Spider-Man series, and it was also said by the late Stan Lee.
- This Episode May have an Incredibles References, Despite With their same Powers That are based on each Characters from The Incredibles, for Example: Ginger has a Strength Power just like Mr Incredible or Bob Parr, Tom has the Same Super Speed just Like Dash Parr, Ben has Super Cryogenic Ice Powers just like Frozone and Pierre is Likely Closer to Jack Jack which makes sense because Jack Jack Takes place in the Event of the Pixar Short called Jack Jack Attack Where he has the same Gravitation Power.
Errors[]
- At the beginning of this episode, Ginger does not have a shadow for a split second.
- Near the beginning of the episode, during a camera transfer, Ben's fur is at the wrong place for a split second, making him look similar to his appearance in the 2014 series.
