Season 5 is the fifth season of Talking Tom and Friends. It was confirmed on 4 April 2019[1]. It aired on 8 May 2020 to 24 December 2021.
Episodes were released biweekly up to Roy to the Rescue, after which episodes began being released monthly.
Plot
There’s sparkling new romance in the air, a new roommate, and even a mysterious new neighbor! What’s going to happen?!
Description
This season revolves around a mysterious new neighbour in town, who Tom suspects is guilty of various crimes, such as theft, sabotage, and fraud. The season begins with Roy moving next door to the friends and ends with Roy being exposed for his crimes and escaping.

- Roy from "Talking Tom Gold Run" was introduced to the show’s universe, making him the ninth character to originate from an app, the others being Tom, Ben, Hank, Angela, Ginger, Gina, Pierre, and Santa.
- Becca had more appearances in this season than in her debut season.
- Starting from Waitress Angela, the friends all received new outfits, which were then used interchangeably with their Season 4 outfit.
- Most this season first aired on a British TV Channel called Pop.
- This season premiered on the same month as Seasons 3 and 4.
- Starting from Roy to the Rescue, episodes were released monthly instead of biweekly.
- There is also a another playlist with the tagline for Season 5 but episode 20 is oddly missing in the playlist.
- This is the only season that it doesn't include a YouTube banner.
