Pierre (born May 25[4]), also known as Talking Pierre, is one of the former main characters of the many series in the Talking Tom & Friends franchise, and one of the lead characters in the Talking Friends miniseries. Pierre debuted as a realistic blue-and-yellow macaw in early versions of his app Talking Pierre the Parrot released in November of 2011, before later being redesigned by Ukrainian artist Andrey Kravchenko as part of the app's overhaul in December of that same year.[1]
Pierre is generally depicted as a snarky, rude, rebellious and independent teenage parrot prankster and video game addict. Described as "obnoxious" and "totally immature",[2][3] it is said that Pierre's number one priority is having fun,[6] and that he sees rules as things which are "meant to be broken".[9] Though he is Tom's roommate, Pierre is a rebel who spends most of his time partying at the best parties in town,[7] often bragging about his latest video game score,[6] or pulling pranks[8] with his best friend and follower Ginger,[5][14] all of which are usually on Angela.[15] If he is not doing either of those things, however, he usually hangs out with the rest of the friend group. Pierre thinks very highly of himself, claiming himself to be the "smartest parrot in the world" and believing that he is never wrong.[6][16] His arrogance can make him quite rude, always ignoring advice from friends[6] and insulting them, but he still has a sincere care and respect for some of them such as Larry.[17]
Although Pierre was considered by Outfit7 to be the fifth most popular Talking Tom & Friends character as of late 2014,[18] he began to subsequently disappear from media around that same time period. He would, however, appear as a main character in Talking Ginger's Story Time, continue to appear on official social media accounts until 2017, and his app, Talking Pierre the Parrot, can still be found for download unto the present day.
Appearance
Pierre generally appears as a slender green 16 year old[3] parrot with blue eyes, light green feathers around his eyes, and green wings. He also has a long tail, feathers on the top of his head, and a sharp yellow-orange beak.
Apps
In early versions of Talking Pierre the Parrot, Pierre had a radically different appearance. Here, he appears as a blue-and-yellow macaw with blue feathers, a yellow stomach, a black and white striped face with a black chin, a green forehead, black beady eyes, a gray beak, and gray feet with white tips.
Personality
"Take that, noob!" ("Attack of the Tech!")
Pierre is portrayed as immature, a prankster, and a bit rude, but is otherwise nice and a good friend to the others. He seems to lack manners, as Tom and Ben always try and teach him, though he doesn't adhere. He considers having fun the most important thing to him. He is said to be very loud about his opinions and can get into arguments easily. Despite all this, he seems to still mostly get along with his friends, and he does seem to really care about them.
Pierre loves video games and can get addicted to them sometimes. He enjoys staying up late to play them and tends to brag about the high scores that he gets. He is also a great musician, who loves rock music. He plays music on his electric guitar.
According to the Talking Friends Annual 2014, he is most likely found to be at the biggest parties in town, and he adores throwing things around. His status is a "teenager" and a "wiseass". According to "talkingtom.com", he can find underground rock bands before they get popular.
Relationships
Tom
Pierre and Tom seem to be good friends, and Pierre even lives in Tom's house with him. Tom does get annoyed by him sometimes, usually from Pierre smashing things in his house or making a mess.
In Talking Friends, Pierre and Tom are friends, but they frequently insult each other, sometimes without much of a reason for it. Such as Tom referring to Pierre as obnoxious, and Pierre insulting Tom's looks in "Angry Parrots" and "Tom After Tom".
Ginger
Along with Tom, Ginger seems to be one of Pierre's closest friends. They tend to hang around each other a lot, and Ginger seems to be the person that Pierre likes being around the most. Pierre is also apparently an idol for Ginger, and it is said that Ginger was not a prankster until he began hanging out with him.
Ben
Pierre and Ben do seem to be friends, but Pierre does often get annoyed by Ben's many inventions.
In Talking Angela, it is mentioned that Pierre is always messing with and stealing Ben's inventions and chemistry and using it to prank Angela for fun. In Tom Loves Angela, Angela can mention a story of Ben feeding Pierre chemical food and him shedding his feathers as an effect.
Angela
Pierre is friends with Angela as well. Apparently, they get along very well, though Angela does seem to get very annoyed when he plays pranks on her. Angela considers Pierre immature, and a man of mayhem, but claims he has a big heart and really does care for everyone.
Despite having a half-fondness of each other, Pierre has been said and shown to be quite cruel to Angela in the past; according to Talking Angela, Pierre once pranked Angela by pouring tomato soup on her.[15] According to Talking Friends Cartoons and Talking Angela, Angela hates red things as it is almost impossible to get it out of her fur. Pierre knowing this would have done it for a cruel laugh. The other occasion is in the Talking Ginger's Story Time episode "Escape To Paradise", where Angela is being sent around the world to explore. When Angela puts on her swimwear in Hawaii, Pierre deliberately sends her to the streets of France, where she is left humiliated in her underwear. On the musical side of things, however, the two get along well.[16]
Even through all this, Angela and Pierre remain friends, and Angela is able to look deep down and see true care in Pierre's heart.
Gina
Pierre and Gina are seen together in the episode of Talking Friends, "Angry Parrots", in which Gina is used as bait for Pierre to rescue as part of him reenacting his favorite game, Zombie Brain Suckers. Pierre kisses Gina, mistaking her for a princess kidnapped by the zombies from the game he had been playing, finishing the reenacting he was doing, and causing him to shout about his disgust of Ginger's spit being on the Gina squeaky toy.

Talking Pierre is the smartest parrot on the planet. It’s true, he said so himself. He is also a teenager and he loves to act all independent. He’s a big bird and knows how to handle himself! Having fun is the rule of the game for this parrot and Talking Pierre follows it to the letter.
His parties are legendary and one time even the police who intervened for breaking the curfew ended up having a blast! Talking Tom and Talking Ben are always trying to teach him manners but Talking Pierre will have none of that! I've met many parrots in the world but Pierre is truly one of a kind. He's, well, ummm, how can I say it in a nice way... He's chatty... and has his opinions. Pierre is always good for a conversation, or argument, or just to hang out with. He's also a great musician and manages to find the hottest underground bands before they become famous. I have no idea how he does it!

- Pierre is one of the two characters in Talking Friends not to appear in Talking Tom and Friends, along with Gina.
- However, Pierre does have a small cameo on a candy bag in the episode "Assertive App".
- Very early iterations of "talkingtomandfriends.com" also featured Pierre, along with Santa.
- While the character has been absent for several years, his app still remains, so there is a chance he has just stopped appearing.
- Despite not appearing in the reboot, he made small appearances on official social media accounts until 2017.
