Newserator is the fourth episode of Talking Friends.

Synopsis[]

Tom gets Ben to build a news-making machine to make their news show more exciting. Why settle for the same old boring news when you can make your own?! Unfortunately for our Talking Friends, the Newserator 3000 wants to make them the lead story!

Plot[]

The episode begins on Tom and Ben's news station. Tom is discouraged because there was no news story for him and Ben to report. When Tom has the idea for an invention that could create news stories, Ben then invents one: the Newserator 3000.

Once the Newserator 3000 was built, it crafts a UFO from trash cans, uses it to fling Pierre into downtown Nowheresville, and prints a report paper for Tom, reporting on an alien parrot. It then reports another report paper, this time about a car crash on a highway. They report the news story, but Ben notices that those were his and Tom's cars.

They try confronting the Newserator for causing tragic events, but it just handed him a report reporting on a tornado. It then spun itself into a huge, catastrophic tornado near the trailers. Ben claims that the Newserator would make them "the wrong kind of famous," but the Newserator hands him a report paper, accusing Tom and Ben for making fake news. Tom and Ben assail the robot, only to be quickly defeated and thrown back down to the ground by the Newserator's strong and agile claws.

Just then, Pierre reappears, and throws a tomato directly at the Newserator's activation button. This immediately shuts it down. Ginger asks them if they were on the news, to which Tom covered the camera with his paw.
