My Talking Hank: Islands (formerly called: My Talking Hank, My Talking Hank 2, My Talking Tom Islands, My Talking Tom Friends Islands, and My Talking Tom & Hank Islands) is the ninth game in the My Talking series, and app developed by Outfit7. It was soft-launched on the 9th of November, 2023 for Android, and was fully released on the 4th of July, 2024. The full global launch for iOS was on the 5th of July 2024.
Description
Talking Hank has a ticket to paradise! Hank is on a brand-new adventure exploring an island paradise full of fun and surprises. Players can join Hank on a journey of discovery as he explores the island and meets amazing animals along the way!
Hank’s home away from home:
Hank’s got his very own Tree House full of home comforts. Between his adventures, Hank can snooze in the hammock, choose outfits to wear, or make himself a snack in the kitchen. Players who love taking care of Hank will enjoy looking after him in his quirky home base.
Hank’s island adventure:
There’s something to discover around every corner on the island. Hank might meet a cute companion, find a new mini-game, or stumble across a snack station where he can make his own ice cream. Players can explore the island alongside Hank and help him decide where to go, and interactive features on the map provide endless fun.
Hank’s animal companions:
Hank loves animals and animals love Hank!
As Hank explores, he meets a happy elephant, a super cute turtle and a friendly dolphin - just to name a few! Players can help Hank bond and interact with the animals through feeding, play and games. Every animal has a unique personality and unique activities to enjoy with Hank.

- Some sound effects were reused from Talking Tom Gold Run and Talking Tom Pool.
- You cannot pet Hank in this app. Rubbing the screen will just result in picking up Hank.
- The game's release also resulted in the original app getting replaced.
- My Talking Tom, along with My Talking Tom 2, My Talking Angela and My Talking Hank all had an update where the player would get 100,000 coins and 10,000 gems. This was because of Talking Tom's anniversary. With the update, prices also became incredibly cheap, meaning that the player could buy everything in one sitting.
- However, this game is the only new game that already comes with the amount of currency and discounts.
- Except, My Talking Angela 2 whose current currencies are now coins, unrarity activity tokens and flight tokens. Instead of not removing diamonds and rarity activity Tokens.
- This app reuses the same model that can be seen in Talking Tom Wild Party.
- At launch, animals would want you to do something for them, like feed them or play; if you did either of those things, the animal wouldn't do anything when you returned, but now they might rub their bellies or do a happy animation (the turtle burps when fed) depending on what you did.
- The app's original release was in around November of 2023, which later was removed and re-launched in around June of 2024.
- This is the first and only game that does not have a Chinese version, as Jinke deleted the Chinese version of the app due to the company closure.
