Larry, also known as Talking Larry,​ is a character from the Talking Friends series, first appearing in his app in Mid 2010.

Larry, such as most characters like Gina and Pierre, began to subsequently disappear from media around late 2014. However, his app remained for download until late 2016, and he appeared in Talking Ginger's Story Time as a minor character.

Appearance

Larry is a white bird, either a songbird or a white bird, with feathers, blue eyes with black eyelids and dark orange feet. He has an orange-brown beak, and his feathers stick out when he puts his wings up.

Personality

Larry's most prominent trait is his depression. He is said to have a "life is hard, leave me alone" sign permanently plastered on his face, signifying that he is quite unhappy most of the time. Larry is also said to be a musician, and only appears to be happy when he is singing. He craves attention and applause, with a notable example of this being him taking a bow as a feature in his app.

According to the Talking Friends Annual 2014, Larry thinks quite highly of himself, calling himself the "smartest parrot in the world". His status is a real songbird.

• There was a video uploaded on the Talking Tom & Friends YouTube channel where Larry was rapping, although it has since been privated.
• Larry is a bird, but the direct kind of bird Larry is has several contradictions:
  • In his Talking Friends Annual 2014 profile, his status refers to him as a songbird, only for the book to later contradict itself, with Larry referring to himself as a songbird during one of his riddles.
• Larry’s name being Larry might be based off the basketball player, Larry Bird. As Larry is a bird.
