It's getting hot in here. When the thermostat breaks, it falls on Talking Ben to hack the system and restore the righteous temperature to all. But everyone breaks a cold sweat when he makes it freezing instead. Can the gang get their cool back when too much power pushes Ben over the top?
Plot[]
Angela tries to record a song in the garage, but the friends are in a heatwave so severe that it fries Ben's computer processor, and the water immediately evaporates. Angela tries to turn down the thermostat, only to find it was rigged with a security system by the Landlord. The Landlord bursts in and warns them not to touch the thermostat; it is activated with a code that's backed into a cloud. Ginger tells them that he's going to go to the pool in his mansion.
So, when Hank starts getting mirages and starts talking to a watermelon, Tom decides that he had to do something. Ben uses a virtual reality device to hack into the cloud to turn on the thermostat. Once he puts on the headpiece, he entered the cloud.
He climbs the stairs to reprogram the thermostat. All he needs was the code; he tries several codes, but none work. Then, Hank interrupts him, telling him that the code was 1495, because he saw a TV show where a character paid a barber $14.95. Ben reluctantly enters the code, which worked. Apparently, the watermelon told Hank the code. Ben now has the power to change the temperature to his will and is given an Aztec crown and made king of the thermostat.
However, it starts to get a little chilly in the garage. Hank asks Ben to make the garage a little warmer, which Ben refuses. It gets too cold, so Tom decides to go turn off the air conditioner. Thinking fast, Ben reprograms the thermostat and makes the garage so cold it freezes all the friends except Ben somehow into a solid block of ice.
Ginger comes in and finds everyone frozen. He tells Ben that he has become a tyrant just like the Landlord. So, Ben enters the cloud, hacks the thermostat, and makes the garage warm again. The landlord comes in and asks if they touched the thermostat. Tom and his friends try to deny it, and then they all go over to Ginger's house for a pool party.
