"Hank the Director" is the 16th episode of Season 1 of Talking Tom and Friends.
Synopsis[]
YouTube[]
Hank gets power-hungry on his birthday and makes everyone act out his favorite TV show...at least there's cake!
IMDb[]
When Hank's favorite TV show gets cancelled. He becomes a director and tells the gang to make his favorite show once again.
Plot[]
Tom, Angela, Ben and Ginger are eating cake when Hank bursts through the door. They realize it was Hank's birthday. Every year, Hank would ask his friends to film their own episode of Bongo & McGillicuddy, and every year, they would say no. They are about to do the same this year, but they feel guilty, and agree to help Hank.
Angela plays the police chief, Ben plays McGillicuddy, the orangutan, and Tom and Ginger audition for the part of Bongo. In the end, Tom gets the part and Ginger becomes the director's assistant.
They soon realize, however, that Hank is going to take it way too seriously. Hank barks at Ginger to get him coffee, only to spit it out, complaining that the coffee didn't have enough milk in it. Additionally, he yells at Ginger over a missing stapler prop, and screams at Ben for making a subtle mistake with his lines.
Eventually, Hank just gives up on the project, despite his friends' best efforts. He watches an episode of his favorite show, and in the episode, Bongo realizes he made a mistake by taking advantage of McGillicuddy and has to make it right. Hank learns from the episode and decides to apologize to his friends for treating them poorly.
They accept his apology, and Hank tries to get a piece of his birthday cake from the fridge, only to find Ginger in the fridge, eating the last piece.
