It's Talking Hanks birthday again. But instead of his usual bossing people around, he is sick. And who is the guy who is the best at not making people sick? Jeremy, of course.
Plot[]
Tom and his friends were eating a cake when Ginger enters, excited to go to the carnival. Just then, they realise that the cake they were eating was Hank's birthday cake. Remembering a previous birthday where they were forced to make a fan episode of Bongo & McGillicuddy, they believe their trip to the carnival to be cancelled.
However, Hank enters sick and unwell. Seeing this as an opportunity, Tom sits Hank down before going to the carnival. Meanwhile Jeremy feels insulted that Hank was hanging around with another germ besides him. Nevertheless, he makes Hank a bowl of soup and tells him to watch television. However, he sneezes soup onto the remote. This sent an electric shock into the television, and Bongo and McGillicuddy stepped out.
Meanwhile, the gang decide that it was unfair that they ditched Hank, so they decide to throw him a party. Hank launches out more of his favorite television characters into the real world. However, he nearly lets Kaptain Kriminal into the real world. Anyway, they party, and Hank makes a toast to the germ that got him sick, shocking Jeremy.
Just then, the remote falls off the stool, causing a shock to be sent to the television, letting Kaptain Kriminal escape. He and his minions break the remote then bullies the characters. So, realizing they needed more of Jeremy's soup to make a new remote, they find Jeremy, who was offended that Hank liked a different germ.
Hank finds him in the storage room and apologizes for letting in another germ. So, Jeremy gladly makes a new bowl of soup, then used the remotes to zap the minions back into the television. They cheer, but Hank starts feeling dizzy and passes out.
Meanwhile, Tom and his friends feel guilty about ditching Hank on his birthday. So, they try to win him a prize from Rich Guy's carnival games, only to find all of them were rigged. So, Ginger steals a balloon from the balloon dart game, which was made of metal. Rich Guy then begs him to hand it over, offering a prize. Ginger was about to decline, but Tom gladly accepts.
Hank wakes up from his coma; it was all a dream and he never met Bongo & McGillicuddy. However, Tom gladly gives him a Bongo & McGillicuddy figurine from the carnival as his birthday present.

Trivia[]
- Compared to Bye, Bye, Bongo!, Bongo and McGillicuddy are drawn differently in style, possibly due to a consequence of the fact that Season 4 has People Moving Pixels producing the animation.
- This episode's working title name was "Hank's TV All Stars" and was going to be the 13th episode of Season 4.
- While this episode is known to be a continuation of "Hank the Director" with it both being referenced and clips from the episode being used as the gang eat Hank's cake, there are several callbacks to other old episodes, as well:
- "Bye, Bye, Bongo!" is referenced when Bongo and McGillicuddy enter the real world the same way Hank visited their world, with the ending turning out that the cartoon characters coming to life was just a dream, the same ending Bye, Bye, Bongo had.
- The title from Bongo and McGillicuddy's world, Talking Tom & Friends, is also referenced as Bongo says "Let's show this pathetic punk that this show is for protagonists".
- "Lost Friend Will Zee" also has a callback when Hank explains how there are extras remotes in the couch.
- In the episode, Jeremy turns the Television on, only for it to be playing a scene from the Bongo and McGillicuddy episode in Hank the Director, the same episode where Hank learns that bossing his friends around was a mistake. The footage was remade from scratch, likely to put it into the new style.
- According to the Talking Tom & Friends website, Hank's birthday happens on "February 29th", making this the date this episode takes place on, as it is said to take place on Hank's birthday.
Errors[]
- This episode was mistakenly made public a day before it's release but was quickly made private.
- There is a continuity error in this episode. The episode, "Hank's TV Party", released two episodes after the episode.
- "Happy Anniversary", and took place one year after the events of "Hank the Director". Despite this, Hank the Director released long before Just Friends, which is said to have been one year apart from Happy Anniversary. This even goes so far to have several contradicting lines across the two episodes about "a year ago".
