The Hand (also known as the User) is a deuteragonist who appeared in Talking Tom Shorts, as a tutorial guide in the My Talking apps, and is a minor character in Talking Friends. It is, as their name implies, a human hand, representing the player. They don’t appear so often in Talking Friends, and it never appeared in Talking Tom and Friends, however, they are a recurring character in Talking Tom Shorts, and help the player in the apps.
After Talking Friends in 2012, The Hand doesn't appear until a year after in My Talking Tom in 2013 and in Talking Tom Shorts in 2014. The Hand appears most prominently on the YouTube version of Talking Tom and Friends, prompting the viewer to subscribe. The Hand also appears in Talking Hank's Adventure Guide: Island Living for the same reason.
Appearance[]
In Talking Friends, they were a realistic human hand with tan skin that represents the player.
When they returned in My Talking Tom and Talking Tom Shorts, they would drop the human hand design show during intro. In the Shorts and My Talking Apps, it takes on the design of a cartoon hand that is outlined with black tho in My Talking Hank: Islands it is outlined blue and has a different design. They do not appear to have a body at all. Weirdly in Talking Hank's Adventure Guide: Island Living its design is the same as in most of the My Talking apps.
Personality[]
The Hand is betrayed as a typical bully, they take pleasure in pestering Tom and Angela.[We do see Angela beating up The Hand in her bedroom while she's sleeping in: Talking Tom Shorts 24 - Wake Up!] They love to poke and push them for fun, which usually leaves them annoyed. When they see a reaction, they will begin to laugh. They like causing trouble and enjoys it.

- The Hand is similar to the Handy Helpers from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Hans from SpongeBob SquarePants and Thing from The Addams Family and Wednesday.
- The Hand is also named the User in a YouTube video.
