Plot[]
Ginger was about to partner up with Ronnie for a science project. The winning science project would get a trip to Bug Camp. However, it was discovered that Ms. Vanthrax already chose the partners; Ronnie got put with Darren and Ginger, much to his shock, was to partner with a girl named Tonya.
Ginger tried faking a doctor's note to skip the science fair, but Tom catches him. Ginger admits that he has a girl for a partner, and Angela simply advises him to just treat her like a girl. So, he meets Tonya at the park. They both agreed to make a solar-powered toaster. However, they fight over how Tonya, in Ginger's words, squeezed glue like a girl, and at one point, they touch each other's hands. They are quickly scared and ran away in fear of cooties.
Ginger explains his situation to Ronnie, not knowing that Darren was recording a footage in a bush. At the science fair, Darren and Ronnie reveal a working solar-powered toaster. Ginger accuses them of stealing their idea, but Ms. Vanthrax and Ben (who was one of the judges alongside Tom) ignore his claims and gives Darren an A+ anyways.
Ginger runs into a basketball court, where he sees Tonya. They argue, and then Ginger loses his temper and shouts that girls are gross, not knowing that the whole gymnasium was filled with girls. They all get angry and Tonya chases Ginger up a rope. However, the metal link securing it to the ceiling snaps. Tonya offers to give Ginger a large wad of gum to repair the link, and Ginger was disgusted, but he realized he had to do it. The gum stretches out and Tonya and Ginger are lowered gently to the floor. They decide to use gum to expose Ronnie and Darren. So for the science fair project Ginger displays a "lie detector gum," and make Darren volunteer. They make Darren chew the gum, and ask him whether he stole their idea, to which Darren denies. Immediately the gum starts to get sticky and fuses his mouth shut.
Scared, Ronnie breaks down and admits that he stole the idea. Ginger reveals that the gum was just a regular prank gum but reveals a new solar-powered toaster. They get an A+, and receive a trophy themselves, but their hands touch each other, and they ran away.
