Gina (born July 7[4]), also known as Talking Gina, is one of the former main characters of the many series in the Talking Tom & Friends franchise, and one of the lead characters in the Talking Friends miniseries. Originally a model designed by artist David Moss and uploaded to the 3D modeling website TurboSquid,[1][2] the character Gina was generated when the model was later purchased by Slovenian enterprise Outfit7 in order to use it to develop mobile apps. She debuted in Talking Gina the Giraffe, a virtual pet app intended to show advancement in the mobile industry,[10] published by Outfit7 in February of 2011.
Gina is said to be kind-hearted,[4] friendly and a great listener,[6][5] a caretaker to the other members of the Talking Friends group.[8] She is an intelligent[7] mother-like figure who spends most of her time educating young ones about the world,[6][5] especially her good friend Ginger and her figurative children the baby giraffes. If she is not with the group or younglings, however, she likes to volunteer and help out her community to the best of her ability.[11] An explorer and trained pilot,[12][7] Gina is very active and travels the world, leaving her with much life experience and many stories to tell.[11][4] Gina is also very fond of dancing and is a skilled dancer herself,[7] but her size is said to make her very uncoordinated on the dance floor.[9]
Although Gina was considered by Outfit7 to be the sixth most popular Talking Tom & Friends character as of late 2014,[13] she began to subsequently disappear from media around that same time frame. She would, however, continue to make small cameo appearances in the Talking Tom Shorts and Talking Tom and Friends series, as well as being minorly referenced elsewhere.
Appearance
Gina generally appears as a tall 20 year old[3] giraffe with small brown eyes, brown spots, and black hooves. She has a small tail, a peach face and a short mane that connects all the way down to her back. She, like most of the group, does not wear clothes.
Apps
In I Want To Be Big, Gina uses her design from the Talking Friends miniseries, adapted to fit into the more cartoonish 2D style of the app.
Shows
In Talking Friends, Gina appears as a squeaky toy, rather than a real giraffe. Aside from being a lot shorter, there are hardly any notable changes in Gina's design in comparison to the apps, the only exception being her eyes are further apart.
Personality
Gina is kind-hearted and friendly to everyone. She is known to be a good listener, is great at giving out advice, and is always making sure the Talking Friends gang are secure and having fun. Gina is very smart and likes to educate the small giraffes about the world. She is good-hearted and is always very polite, and she enjoys helping out the community in any ways she can. She is also said to be very relaxed, and loves strong attention, while she hates being neglected by her friends. She is also the tallest member of the gang,
She is strongly active and hugely enjoys sports and games, with patty cake being her favorite, and is seen bicycling, going to the pool, studying outer space, coaching in a soccer tournament and outside exercising in other ways. And her favorite foods are Strawberries, carrots and lemonade,
Relationships
Tom
Gina and Tom are good friends, and Tom thinks she is kind and very helpful thanks to her tallness.[9] Gina also may have a crush on Tom, as in" You Get Me", Tom accidentally kisses her, which she seems to like. Her crush on Tom is also seen in "Talking Ben Pranks Tom on Valentine's Day", where Ben writes a letter to Angela, impersonating Tom, which says that Tom loves Gina, which Gina is exhilarated by upon finding.
Ginger
Ginger is Gina's best friend; they are said to do nearly everything together. In Talking Ginger and Talking Ginger 2, Gina appears in several unlockable puzzles during the events of the apps. She is seen playing with Ginger along with some of the other characters in the main cast. Gina is also seen in Talking Ginger 2 giving gifts to Ginger.
It is said that Gina, along with Pierre, are both strong influences for Ginger.
In Talking Friends, Gina is Ginger's stuffed toy. She is a companion plush, used to keep Ginger company. According to Angela, Ginger believes that Gina is real, however she is simply a doll. He's seen hugging her, playing with her, and carrying her around during the events of the show.
Pierre
Pierre and Gina are seen together in the episode of Talking Friends "Angry Parrots", where Gina is used as a bait for Pierre to rescue as part of him reenacting his favourite game, Zombie Brain Suckers. Pierre kisses Gina, mistaking it for a princess kidnapped by the zombies from the game he had been playing and finishing the reenacting he was doing, causing him to shout about his disgust of Ginger's spit being on the squeaky toy's face.
Baby giraffes
Gina knows a pack of baby giraffes that she considers her younglings and tries to take care of them. They are her pride, and she likes to show and teach them about the world. She likes to take them out with her, whether she goes camping, cycling, boating, skateboarding, ice skating, roller skating, flying in her plane, driving in her car, skydiving, and more.

Gina is very relaxed and super kind to everyone she meets. The tallest in our gang really comes in handy when you need to get something off a high shelf! Gina's always volunteering or helping out the best way she can. She loves art and music, but don't ever take her dancing.
