Plot[]
Tom and Ben attend a technology convention. The host of the convention, MC, welcomes all of the attendants and introduces Steve Hobbs and Steve Bosniak on stage. Both Steves tell the story of how they invented the first ever computer on/off switch; by working together and following the "Pyramid of Friendship." Amazed, Tom and Ben decide to sneak backstage and meet them.
Tom and Ben hide behind a clothing rack, only to be caught by Hobbs and Bosniak. Hobbs and Bosniak start a friendly conversation with Tom and Ben, and Steve Hobbs says that they are just like him and Steve Bosniak. Steve Hobbs says that he is Tom, and Bosniak is Ben, but Bosniak begins an argument with Hobbs, saying that he wants to be Tom instead of Ben. Bosniak gets the Pyramid of Friendship and throws it on Hobbs' head, and the fight escalates and they split up, furious.
Tom and Ben return to the garage, worried that their business partnership would fail if they continued on, and they would end up splitting up. So, they go to the Future Tron, one of their inventions that allows them to see the future on television. On television, Tom and Ben receive an award for their contributions to technology. However, offstage, they start an argument after Tom accuses Ben of taking all the credit to himself. They begin fighting just like Bosniak and Hobbs and split up.
Back in the present day, Tom and Ben do friendship activities to prevent the split-up from occurring. After a trip to the carnival, they return to the Future Tron. They find out, however, that they were so focused on playing that they mismanaged their company and had to sell the company to Ginger.
Tom and Ben get into an argument about what was shown on TV. They wonder what would happen if they relaxed instead of trying to make the future better. They use the Future Tron to see what would happen, and they find that in the future, they would become rich and successful, but Angela would end up marrying Hank, much to Tom's shock.
Tom destroys the Future Tron with a sledgehammer. Tom explains to Ben that trying to improve the future only makes the present day worse and does not improve the future at all. They decide not to use the Future Tron any longer and end the episode with a large dance scene.

- This episode marks the first appearance of the MC.
- The date Tom taps into the Future Tron is 05/06/2018. In real time, the last episode that comes close to that date was “Pirates of Love”, the Season 3 premiere.
- Steve Hobbs' and Steve Bosniak's names are a reference to Steve Jobs and Steve Wosniak.
- Judging by how the name of the Future-Tron is spelled, Tom was a really bad speller back then, or he could have just decided to spell it in a crazy way.
- Also, "6000" is misnamed as 60000" and the second digit scribbled out with an x.
- In the UK, the ending was cut.
- Steve Hobbs & Steve Bosniak's voice actors are uncredited on the YouTube upload of the episode.
- Gina can be seen in a Loopy Swheaties cereal box in 9:12 and 10:17.
- This is also the first episode to have Angela sing a song. The song she sang was Glory to the Grants.
