Tom's Messenger is an app where players can send personalized messages using the Talking Friends characters released in 27 April 2012 for Android and 4 May 2012 for iOS.

The app was later rebuilt into a Talking Tom & Friends app, featuring the designs and cast from Talking Tom and Friends, titled Talking Tom for Messenger.

The app was removed in late 2014 for unknown reasons, however it is speculated that it was removed in anticipation for its successor.

Usage

In this app, users can:

• Select the character they want to send the message with.
• Shop and accessorize their characters.
• Select a background for taking photos.
• Record messages.
• Send or share videos with other people.

Trivia

• This is the second and last app to have Pierre and Gina.
  • Though they make cameo appearances in Talking Santa, Talking Santa Meets Ginger, Talking Tom and Ben News, Talking Ginger and Talking Ginger 2.
• Every character has a little animation at the end of their message.
• Angela and Ginger are paid in this app, but in Talking Tom for Messenger, they are free.
  • Gina and Pierre are paid too.
  • However, currently, they can no longer be purchased due to the app servers being shut down.
• If users try to use the app (through an APK) without Messenger, it will crash.
• Back in June 2012 or July 2012, there used to be RocaWear and Pink Cookie items for Angela, Which are: RocaWear sunglasses, Pink RocaWear handbag, Pink Cookie headphones, And Pink Cookie cool cap. But unfortunately, they were removed probably in late 2014 when the game was removed, or probably when the servers were shutted down by Outfit7 sometime in 2018. And if you already purchased one of the RocaWear or Pink Cookie items from 2012-2014, then you will still have them on an old device, but, if you purchased one of them, the others won't appear in the shop anymore after the game got removed.
