Everybody Hates Tom is the 25th episode of Season 5 of Talking Tom and Friends.
Synopsis[]
When Talking Tom and Talking Ben's newest invention gets massively popular and then misfunctions, suspicion for the sabotage falls on Tom.
Plot[]
Hank finds that the friends are about to be evicted from the garage due to them being broke. They are relying on Ben's new invention, the Helping Hand bot, to become a hit in order to keep the garage.
Tom finds reviews on his computer and finds that the Helping Hand bot is met with overwhelmingly positive reception. They are invited to events and is invited to speak at a technology conference.
However, during the conference, Tom receives news that the bots have suddenly become hostile without a discernable cause. The bots begin attacking citizens and stealing valuables. Tom and Ben Enterprises is naturally blamed for this incident, forming an angry protest at the garage.
The friends decide to investigate the incident, finding where the bots take their stolen goods by luring one of them with a pearl necklace. They follow the bot to a large hoard of valuable items in the forest. After fighting the bots with Roy's help, they find Tom's journal in the forest. They also found that the bots saluted at Tom. The friends saw this as enough evidence to blame Tom for hacking the bots to steal goods and leave Tom in the forest.
In disguise, Tom returns to the garage to convince the friends that he was innocent. However, he is answered by Roy. Roy quietly admits to Tom that he had hacked the bots to steal the valuables, then intentionally framed Tom to replace him as the frontman for Tom and Ben Enterprises. Roy exposes Tom in front of the angry mob, who chases Tom away.
