Double Date Disaster is the 13th episode of Season 2 of Talking Tom and Friends.

During a double date, Talking Tom and his friends get trapped in the diner because of a storm. Tom tries to keep things fun, but strange noises from outside convince everyone that there might be a monster coming for them. Are people just being paranoid? Or is this date about to end in disaster?
Plot[]
Ginger is using a monster tracker app, following its signal to Jerry's. Meanwhile, after a long double date with bike riding, playing laser tag, and indoor skydiving, Tom, Angela, Ben, and Xenon (on Ben's tablet) visit Jerry's for ice cream floats, before their popcorn eating contest. Just then, a thunderstorm begins, downing a tree that falls in front of the cafe door, trapping everyone inside.
After Angela, Ben, and Xenon argue about what to tell each other, and Tom tells them to calm down, Ginger reveals himself to be sitting in the booth directly behind them, then shows his monster tracker app. Apparently there were monsters lurking near the cafe. Still, the friends don't worry, and get ice cream floats, only to hear a loud, monstrous growl. Ben skeptically assumes the noise to be the wind, but Rhonda is convinced it was a monster. She and Ginger go to the kitchen and arm themselves with pots and pans, then Ginger convinces everyone to form a monster response team.
Meanwhile, Ben calls Hank, who is still at the garage. Ben instructs Hank to turn on Lumber-bot, a robot that Ben created to do yard work, which could move the tree and save them. However, in the middle of the call, Hank screams and panics and the call ends. Then, Xenon, who only made an appearance via video call, suddenly loses signal.
Tom tries to convince everyone to help him move the tree manually, but Rhonda stops him, as she is believing Tom to be letting the monster in. The mob ties him and Angela up. Suddenly, the power shuts off, leaving everyone in the dark.
Ben heads towards the circuit box in the back room but sees two glowing green eyes staring at him through the window. Horrified, he runs back and exclaims that the monster was real. Then, they hear a boom from outside, and the front door opens. The monster comes in and reveals itself to be Xenon. Apparently after the signal broke, she managed to hack and control the Lumber-bot and move the tree. She also reveals that the "roar" was just a safety message from the town's storm alert system; the wind broke the speakers, heavily distorting the message. They laugh and head home for the popcorn eating contest.
Meanwhile, Hank is seen in his front yard, burying empty popcorn containers, presumably having eaten all of the popcorn.
