The Director is a supporting character in Talking Tom and Friends and the main antagonist in Movie Star Angelo. He directs many shows, movies and commercials. He is voiced by Tom Kenny, James Adomian, and Brian Huskey.
Appearance[]
The Director wears a navy-blue cap with orange-tinted sunglasses, a red flower shirt, black jeans and has grey hair. He also has a goatee and brown shoes.
Personality[]
The Director cares a lot for his shows and actors. He is very strict when it comes to directing but can be wooed by different things that many people may find strange. Although he's very serious, he can be quite supportive when an actress gets something right or wants to change a small detail. He is also understanding of other people, like when Angela says that Tom has a process, the director understands Angela and carries through with Tom wearing a bag over his head.
History[]
In The Famous Monster, he directed a Tech Phone commercial.
In Pirates of Love, he was the director of Angela and Ricky DeLuna pirate-themed music video.
In The Yes Girl, he entered Jerry's and was impressed with Angela singing. He then introduce himself and ask her to join the audition singing Juror Number Nine from Law Capella. But after seeing Angela arrest on TV. He offer a role as a singing criminal.
In Movie Star Angelo, he was the director of the Starlight Blue movie. Unfortunately he made several unnecessary changes to the movie. He made Starlight Blue a male superhero who made work boots instead of flowers, and his catchphrase would be, "Potato chips rule."
Hank got him to open up on why he made so many changes to the movie. The director confessed it was because he wanted to ruin Starlight Blue. He told about how his sister forced him to watch Starlight Blue instead of Kick Ninjas.
So, Angela, under the disguise of Angelo, distracted him while Tom stole his journal. The director finds out that Angelo was only trying to save Starlight Blue, and decides to fight her.
After a tough fight he calls for the security guards to take out Angela. Angela tells about how Starlight Blue was always about friendship. The security guards are touched and proceed to arrest the director instead.
Despite being arrested, for some reason he appears in Happy Anniversary, where he sits on a fart cushion in Jerry's.
In Neighbor Roy, he attended Roy's party.
In The Incredible Super-Fan, he is seen in a cameo when he gives the Bongo & McGillicuddy mobile game a 5-star review. He is then appear again the park playing the game.
In Becca Fierce, he is walking around at the Brave Race set.
In Who is Billy?, he is seen singing the chorus of Billy Come Back in Roy's auditorium. He then join the search of Billy, He is then seen in the Auditorium filming the music video.
In Angela's New Look, he is in the crowd cheering for Angela in her concert.
In Everybody Hates Tom, he attended a tech conference in the Auditorium.
In Talking Roy and Friends, he attended a party for the launch of the Fun Glasses in Roy's Mansion.
Trivia[]
- The Bongo & McGillicuddy logo on his hat disappeared since The Yes Girl.
- He sounds different when James Adomian voiced him in Season 3, but when Tom Kenny voiced him in Season 4, his voice was identical with Brian Huskey voice.
- He appeared the most in Season 5 as a cameo.
