Bigbeard is a posthumous main antagonist of Ghost Pirate Hunting.
Appearance[]
He is a glowing blue skull with a pirate hat and beard.
Personality[]
He is a malicious pirate who was defensive of his "treasure," which didn't exist.
Powers and Abilities[]
He could knock over furniture and knock out lights, most of which, in reality, is just Tom and Ben's doing.
History[]
Tom and Ben wanted to keep Hank and Ginger from touching his computer while they went out, so Tom tells the story of a ghost named Bigbeard, who was cursed by a sea witch. He warns them not to touch the computer or the pirate will assume Hank and Ginger were rival pirates after his treasure, which is supposedly buried in the garage.
For added effect, Tom knocks out the lights with a slingshot behind his back and Ben knocks over the vase, blaming it on the ghost. Additionally, Hank and Ginger were startled by a stool falling over, which was actually Hank's clunky gear that knocked it over. Then, a kayak fell because it wasn't properly fastened. Their terror led Ginger to accidentally destroy Ben's computer.
Tom and Ben comes home to find the destroyed computer. They admit that they made up the whole hoax to scare Hank and Ginger. They explained the falling kayak, the lights and the vase. However, they couldn't explain some writing on the bathroom mirror, which said, "Pleased to haunt you." No one admitted to writing it, so they ran out terrified. The ghost materialized and said ominously, "The law of the sea shall reign."
In Embarrassing Memories, it was revealed that a future Ben wrote the message and knocked over the kayak trying to save the computer.
Trivia[]
- Bigbeard is a reference to an infamous British pirate, Blackbeard (Edward Teach).
