Talking Angela is forced to face the music when her new song gets a rotten review from a top critic. As her trademark positivity is put to the test, she needs a little help from her friends to turn a thumbs down situation into a thumbs up. Will Angela top the charts, or hit a sour note?
Plot[]
Angela calls Tom from a spot near him, since Angela has changed his ringtone to her new song titled, What's Not to Love. Despite disliking the song, Tom pretends to like the song. Angela announces that a music critic would be visiting the garage to review the song. Angela anticipates a positive review, but Tom disagrees due to Payne's reputation of being a "mean critic."
Payne arrives, and Angela greets her. They sit down, Payne asks a few questions, and Angela performs the song. Due to Payne's calm and polite demeanor, Angela assumes that she would receive a positive review.
To her dismay, she finds the review online to find that Payne had given her a negative review, greatly insulting Angela's music. This review greatly traumatizes Angela, causing her to cry under a blanket.
Tom and his friends intervene, telling her that she should not care about those that put her down and criticize her, and that her liking the song should be the only validation she needed. They encourage her to write the song Payne Can't Hurt Me. This song is met with positive reception, satisfying Angela, only for her to find another negative review.
